The University of Gdańsk is the largest university in the Pomeranian region. It provides education in 87 fields of study, comprising 205 specializations, full-time and part-time studies, at the level of first or second-cycle studies, or within comprehensive (long cycle) five-year master's programmes. University has over 25 thousand students, doctoral students, post-graduates, and more than one thousand seven hundred academic staff. It offers education on three campus sites: in Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia.

Keynote Speakers

Steven C. Bourassa is H. Jon and Judith M. Runstad Endowed Professor and Chair of the Runstad Department of Real Estate in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. He also serves as Director of the Washington Center for Real Estate Research at the University of Washington. Previously, he served as department chair at Florida Atlantic University, the University of Auckland, and the University of Louisville, where he was KHC Real Estate Research Professor. His research focuses on urban housing and land markets and policy, covering a range of topics including housing tenure, residential property valuation, property taxation, housing affordability, low-income housing policy, community land trusts, and public land leasehold. He has published his research in numerous real estate and related journals, such as the Journal of Housing Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, and Journal of Urban Economics, as well as Real Estate Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Urban Studies. His co-edited book, Leasing Public Land: Policy Debates and International Experiences, was published by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. Dr. Bourassa is on the editorial boards of seven real estate journals. He is a Fellow of the Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate and Land Economics and a member of Lambda Alpha International. He received the Research Achievement Award as well as the Service Award from the International Real Estate Society, of which he is a past President. He is currently Treasurer of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association. He holds a Ph.D. in city and regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania

Krzysztof Grzesik is a UK born chartered surveyor, a Polish qualified valuer and Recognised European Valuer, with many years of experience as a property consultant in the UK and mainland Europe. In the UK he first worked for several years as a valuation surveyor at the UK Government's Valuation Office and then as a partner of Kinney & Green, chartered surveyors in the City of London.
In 1991 he set up the real estate services arm of Price Waterhouse in Poland and was also involved in property consultancy work in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Russia. In 1997 he joined Healey & Baker (Cushman & Wakefield) as a partner and in 2000 he became managing partner of King Sturge Poland. In 2004, Krzysztof set up Polish Properties specializing in the valuation of commercial property across Poland.
Krzysztof is currently the Chairman of The European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGOVA). He is also a past Chairman of RICS Europe.
Krzysztof is a former Vice President and International Representative of the Polish Federation of Valuers' Associations (PFVA). He is also a former member of the Polish Valuers’ Qualifications Commission and the Polish Valuation Standards Board. He is a co-author of the „ Professional Standards for Polish Valuers” published by PFVA. He is also the author of many publications concerning property valuation and a co-author of the Appraisal Institute’s textbook titled “ Real Estate Valuation in Global Markets”. For many years, Krzysztof has focused on acting as an expert witness in international valuation disputes. In this connection, he has presented evidence before Arbitration Tribunals in London, Brussels, Paris and The Hague.

The Gdańsk Airport station is located right next to the T2 passenger terminal and is connected to it by a special footbridge. Tickets can be purchased from the ticker machine located on the platform or from the train manager. The SKM carrier's tariff applies to trains serving the PKM line (SKM and PolRegio) (also for journeys with a change at the Gdansk Wrzeszcz station in the direction Gdansk Śródmieście [Gdansk Downtown] or Sopot).
