  • In the context of public indebtedness, private capital needs to be deployed more effectively to increase the delivery of affordable and quality housing. This seminar will aim to understand the main challenges in increasing institutional investment in the private rental sector and seek to identify the most effective model for delivering affordable, good quality rental housing. Drawing from recent progress and international comparisons, the seminar will discuss which residential strategies attract investment, what barriers exist to expanding professional PRS and the policy responses required.
